Tashiken Karate Club has proudly served Newton-le-Willows and the surrounding area for over 37 years. As a long-established not-for-profit club, we provide a welcoming, disciplined and supportive environment for children and adults to learn and enjoy karate.
We cater for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced students and competitors. Our members train for many different reasons, including fitness, confidence, discipline, self-defence, personal development and competition.
We run separate children's and adults' classes and welcome a wide age range of students in an inclusive setting. Over the years, we have supported members of all levels, including those representing AMA England internationally.
Whether you are new to karate or looking to continue your journey, Tashiken Karate Club offers a strong sense of community, quality instruction and a proud local history.
We specialise in Shukokai Karate. Whether you are a complete beginner or returning to training, please arrive a few minutes early for your first class. Comfortable workout clothing is suitable for beginners — a club gi (uniform) can be arranged after you join.
Training is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We look forward to training with you!
